Principle 46

The Holy Spirit is the highest communication medium. Miracles do not involve this type of communication,
because they are temporary communication devices. When you return to your original
form of communication with God by direct revelation, the need for miracles is over.

This reflects the idea that the Holy Spirit communicates from God to us. He is that bridge or Mediator between Heaven and hell, or reality and the dream. This, again, is a distinction between the miracle and revelation.

"When you return to your original form of communication with God by direct revelation, the need for miracles is over." When we are all finished with our homework, have completed our path, and have forgiven everyone who has to be forgiven, then we no longer need the Holy Spirit as a link to God because there is no longer any split mind that has to be linked back with God. Then we are restored to awareness of perfect oneness with Him. The goal of the miracle is not God but the shifting of perception that clears the way to God. That is the function of the Holy Spirit within the separated world.
